In the 1970s, Emanuel Cahana’s advertising agency became one of the lead players in the field, and he began working for institutions and large corporations, including: The Dead Sea Factories, Koor, various banks, and above all municipalities and government ministries (the ministries of education, culture, transportation, communication, health, housing, and the Government Advertising Agency). The creative freedom typical of his artistic approach was also given expression by means of the original ideas and witty texts that characterized his advertisements for these institutional bodies. In these works, Cahana employed illustration and drawing techniques typical of caricatures, which transmitted the message in a pleasant, humorous manner.
